Obituary of Diane Temple Bradish

Remembering Diane Diane Temple Bradish was born February 6, 1983, in Alexandria, VA, to George Bradish and Marie Temple. She lived with her loving boyfriend, Harold Spahr, for 6 years, in Florida and most recently in Arlington, VA. Diane was a sweet, kind, generous person. She had many health problems, including toxoplasmosis, migraines, bipolar disorder, learning disabilities, and asthma. The toxo caused lesions in her retinas over time, and she became legally blind when she was 16. Diane was one of the first students at Oneness Family Peace School in Chevy Chase, MD, where she was a student from kindergarten to 5th grade. She also attended Oak View Elementary, Eastern Middle School, and Blair HS, Rockville HS, Montgomery College, and the International Academy of Design and Technology. Diane loved to sing, dance, draw, make jewelry, work on scrapbooks, take photographs, work with computer graphics, and collect costumes. She was 10 years old when her brother, Jon, was born, and she was a loving sister to him. Her father, George, took her around the world on many vacations, visiting all 48 contiguous states in the U.S., 6 Canadian provinces, 15 European countries, and Japan. Survivors include her boyfriend, Harold Spahr; father, George Bradish; mother, Marie Temple; brother, Jonathan Temple Hayes; and aunt and uncle, Sally and John Skislak. The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Advent Funeral Services, Falls Church, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church, 3304 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201 on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness
