Hello, I've sadly stumbled upon this page while searching for Diane to make sure she gets the invite to our 20th HS reunion...I'm so sad to see that her light left this word 8 years ago. Diane and I were friends from Wood MS through Rockville HS. We did music and theatre together, and she had a beautiful, vibrant heart and voice. My favorite memory with Diane was from 6th or 7th grade. We were partners on a final project for after reading Tuck Everlasting in English class, and we created a commercial for the everlasting spring. We had so much fun with the assignment, and I might be biased, but I think our presentation was definitely the best. Diane poured her whole heart into everything she did...nothing in halves. Though we lost touch after HS, and she lost her battle with illness, I am glad that she was still surrounded by loving friends and family until the end. May you all be safe and well.

My sympathies to her family and boyfriend on this shocking loss. Though I only knew Diane briefly around 2001-2002 at Montgomery College, she seemed like such a nice, friendly, and engaging person.

George,
Even though Kathy posted for her and myself last week, I just want you to know I had Diane included as one of the intentions at mass this past Sunday at my home parish. Please know that Fujiko and I will always remember the good times we all had when you and Diane visited us years ago. And that we will always hold her and you close in our hearts and prayers, despite the miles separating us. Love, your cousin Rod

“Be Still and know that I AM with you.”
Words cannot express what I cannot know what you are going through. Just know that Diane is in a better Place, beyond all cares and sorrows, and that whatever she was in life has been made even Greater in her passing.
May you know the Peace that Passeth Understanding, at this time and in the future.

Hi, I don’t know if you remember me, but I was the art teacher at Oneness School for many years. I so remember Diane and her art work. I have a tee-shirt that all the kids contributed a person to and to this day I know which one was Diane’s.
My prayers go out to your family in this difficult time. with much love. Sarah

I have worked with George at the Library of Congress for many years. During those years there seldom was a period of time in which he did not mention his daughter.
I know that there will be a day when God wipes away every tear. Until that day I pray that the Lord will be with you, and that he will look upon you with eyes of mercy, and wrap his arms of love about you.
Our church will be lifting you up in prayer during this time of sorrow.
Your sorrowing friend

Hello, I was a friend of Diane’s for over ten years. We were once roommates as well. I give my condolences to her family. Diane and I ran together in the same group of friendships here in Orlando, Fl. Coming to the service in Virginia will be hard to do for all of us, but we will be organizing a memorial that is a celebration of her life here in Orlando. She will be missed. She was a beautiful person. I send my deepest condolences.

Dear George, Marie, and all of Diane’s loved ones, I and my family haven’t adequate words to express our shock and sorrow at Diane’s passing. Distance and circumstances have kept us apart through the years, but we have always and will always cherish the memories of the few times when we WERE able to get together. Diane was a fun-loving, lively, sincere and talented young lady. We share your grief at her loss and hold all of you in our hearts during this dark time. With our sincerest condolences and prayers that God will help you find comfort in your memories of Diane, Kathy, Mike & Katie Parcheta & Rod Bradish

We are so deeply sorry for your loss. I immediately see two sweet little baby girl cousins in high chairs sharing in the joy of the Kurimski 50th wedding anniversary about 30 years ago. I wish we were able to build more memories with your precious Diana. We pray that God may fill the vast chasm of emptiness made by her absence with the comfort, strength and peace that only He can provide. With much love, our hearts ache for you in this unspeakable grief, dear Cousin George, Marie, Jonathan, Sally, John and Harold.
