I called on Tony in the summer of 2012 to help me with the meanest chihuahua (pepe) there ever was. I have had Pepe since 2008 and never been able to touch him without him attacking me. Now because of Tonys skill and expertise I can pet my Pepe without him turning on me and attacking me. I have been blessed to know him as a trainer and a friend. The last time I spoke to him was 1/05/13 and he was his light hearted self as if he was just fine. Every time we spoke or saw each other he always told me how blessed he was to have his wonderful sone Steve, daughter Michelle and his grand children. Every time he said he had no idea of why he was so blessed to have such wonderful children and grandchildren; and I always told him because God knew he was worthy of this wonderful family. He was so blessed to have the talent he had with animals. He was the best at what he did and who he loved. Steve and Michelle pleas know I am a witness to how much he loved you and how proud he was of you. I will miss him deeply and I have such a feeling of loss in my life. Thank you for sharing your father with all of us. Fondly Doris Price

I am happy to hear that Tony’s family has decided that donations go to Capital Caring or Ragged Mountain Dogs. I know that Ragged Mountain Dogs was next door to Tony’s place. I wish that I could afford to buy Tony’s place (which is adjacent) and donate it to Ragged Mountain Dogs. THIS would be an ideal donation considering the fact that Tony’s friend Lisa did all she could to help him with his enterprise. When he became sick she not only took care of the Ragged Mountain Dogs. Lisa took care of Tony’s dogs also I will never forget the strength that Tony shared when he arrived in our community. I will never forget his lovely baritone voice. I will never forget his failing health and how he suffered. I will always have a special place in my heart for him. I am sorry, Tony, that you lost the fight. I know how much you tried.

It was such a shock to hear of Tonys passing. He was a wild young man but enjoyed life to its fullest. I was so proud to see that he was allowed to pursue his passion and talents in working with animals. He will be missed but his good work has already made an effect and will continue to help others. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Our sincere condolences, Butch and Rita McGuigan

My Prayers are with you all. I am happy to read that Tony loved working with animals and did so well at it. It’s great to know that he got to do what his passion was. Not all of us can say that. I remember him coming to our house several times when we were teens. What fun he was to be around. I wish the best for his family. God Bless, Regina McGuigan Wagner

I was so sorry to hear the news of Tony’s passing. He fought for his life courageously. He truly found his calling in working with dogs; He was a real “Miracle Worker” for them.

Mr. Orange had a warm personality and a kind heart. I realized this quickly after just one phone conversation with him. We never met but spoke a few times by phone as we considered him for a clinical trial. May he rest in peace. –study coordinator at Lombardi.

I met Tony a long time ago when he was starting to learn how to train dogs. I admire how much he tried hard to do a good job, then going out and training dogs for others. He will be missed. I will pray for him and all those who cared about him.
