Obituary of John Horengic

John Horengic, Jr. passed away on April 5, 2013 with family at his side. Devoted husband for 54 years to Bernadette, Loving father to Patty and Mike. Also survived by his three beautiful granddaughters, Chelsie, Caitlyn and Marin; his brothers, Carl and Dan; his sister, Olga; and their families. A veteran of the Korean War and an active member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he was also a member of the UCNF (Ukrainian) Church and an avid bowler. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, April 14 and 9:30-10:15 AM Monday, April 15 at 9013 Annapolis Road, Lanham (formerly Rendon-Hale). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7401 Buchanan Street, Landover Hills on Monday at 11:00AM. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham on Wednesday, April 24 at 11am.
