2 Memories:
1) The time Uncle John took Chris, mom, and I , via the subway to D.C. for the day. That was my first trip to the Air and Space and Natural History Museum.
2) Visiting you all in Ocean City. Often he would drive me and Lexi back to the condo so that we didn’t have to take the bus.
Rest in Peace Uncle John, may God bless and keep your soul

Some of my favorite memories are playing cards with Uncle John. He took his cards very seriously and on occasion he might have been a tad bit of a sore loser as the cards would go flying thru the air. I think we all might have a little bit of that in us, I know I have thrown the cards a time or two. It didn’t matter though as it was all in fun. Anytime you play cards with family or friends it can get just a little crazy because who doesn’t want to win. Win or lose, though we all enjoyed our time together. May god bless you and rest in peace Uncle John!

What I like to remember about Uncle John: Went the Horgenic’s came to Pa to visit you knew Uncle John was going to make you a mini millionaire for the day. As one of his many niece’s I wonder if Uncle John set and shined all the coins he would give us. No coin shined more then the others. You waited and waited, then, then THEN came those shiney coin that only Uncle John had. When he would put that big shiney coin in your hand, you became a mini millionaire that day and for as long as you had that coin. those were the days that that coin from Uncle John could made me happy for days. Thank you Uncle John. RIP Pam Kovach Young PS it was a half dollar piece I was rich….

I will always remember my brother in law when we played cards. He had a little chicken that he would place in the middle of the table and when we started laughing he would put the chicken on the table and call it the Kovach Clucker. We really enjoyed playing cards with him. May he rest in peace!

I can remember all the times we came to Maryland to visit my parents Uncle John and Aunt Bernie always took time to come for a visit. I remember well the time Uncle John decided to take my kids sight seeing in D. C. and then mini golfing. It was so hot that day the the sweat ran in our eyes as we tried to golf, but he insisted they play the whole game through when I could see how hot he really was. He wanted them to have a good time no matter what.
