Obituary of Aaron Cordell Spears

Our beloved Aaron C. Spears, died March 29, 2024.  He was born to his parents, Jerome X. Briscoe, Sr. and Keeva V. (Spears) Armstrong.  As Aaron was growing up, he attended North Forestville Elementary, Thomas Johnson Middle School and Suitland High School.

 

Aaron was a crane operator for South Capital Bridge Builders, and a member of the CHOICE Union.  He enjoyed playing cards, Dominoes, various video games; particularly Call of Duty, Madden, and NBA Live.  Aaron was an adamant social media poster on Facebook.

 

He was a proud father, self-made, brave, dependable, strong, loyal, determined, outspoken, compassionate, a fighter and a friend for life.

 

Aaron was predeceased by his father, grandmother; Sara E. Briscoe, grandfather, Carl R. Spears Jr.,   his aunt; Katherine J. Spears, his uncle; Darryl Coles and his brother, Jermal Briscoe.

 

He is survived by his mother, stepfather; William H. Johnson, Jr., daughter; Aariana M. Spears, son; Aaron C. Spears, Jr., brothers; Carl L. Armstrong, Jerome Briscoe, Jr., Sisters; Jermica Briscoe, Chanda Galloway, his grandmother; Janettle Jones, grandfather; John Briscoe Sr., Aunts; Paulette D. Fenwick, of North Carolina, Janell L. Baker and her husband, Anthony of Tennessee, Darylene Coles, Justine Middleton, Jessena Edwards, Uncle John Briscoe, Jr. of Washington, DC, Fiancée Deandrea Wilson and nieces and nephews.

 

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Advent Funeral Services, 9013 Annapolis Road, Lanham, MD.
