Christine Weber

Obituary of Christine L. Weber

In loving memory of Christine Louise Weber, who passed away peacefully on March 04, 2024, in her residence.  Chrissy was born in Hamilton Ohio on August 25, 1948, daughter of Bob and Dorothy (Keller) Bayman and raised by Bob and Helen (Eggler) Bayman, and she graduated from Fairfield High School in 1966.  She was preceded in death by her life partner Zoltan Kalman and sister Roberta "Jackie" (Spahn) Bayman.

Chrissy was self-employed for over 35 years as an interior decorator.  She loved to knit, play bingo, volunteer, and enjoyed traveling with her family.  Chris was a walking angel of caring and selflessness.  She always put her family's needs above her own, even throughout her final days. Chrissy's favorite phrase was "go soar with your guardian angels", and she was affectionately called "Glamma" by her granddaughters, because she was "too young and glamorous to be called grandma." She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with grit, fight, and fortitude.   Chris was a source of inspiration, strength, and resilience to all of us and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Ellicia Weber of Falls Church, VA; her sister Carol Fischer of Boca Raton, FL; three grandchildren Elayna, Elizabeth and Evelyn; cousin Marta "Marty" Kumer; nieces and nephews Anita Minnis, John Fischer Jr., Steven Fischer Sr., and Angie O'Farrell; and many other family members and friends.

Many blessings and thanks to Virginia Cancer Specialists and Dr. Robert Christie for their outstanding oncology care; and to the Sunrise of McLean Village and Capital Caring Hospice for ensuring comfort, dignity, and peace for Christine in her final days.

A small private service will be held in Falls Church on March 13th.  Christine will be buried next to Zoltan Kalman at All Souls Cemetery, 3823 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Cortland, OH 44410 on June 8th, at 11:00am, and open to extended friends and family.

Christine received generous support from Patient Advocacy Foundation (PAF) to help offset her treatment costs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PAF, to the Co-Pay Relief Program at patientadvocate.org or copays.org, to help fund the relief program.

Live well and love like crazy because time is a precious thing.  Spend it well, feel the things, enjoy your people, listen to good music, and give thanks and grace for every moment; for gratitude and serenity are superpowers of spirituality...and may we all connect in the most meaningful ways. May God Bless Christine Louise Weber, her family, and her friends.
