Obituary of Norman Callahan

It is with great sadness, we announce the death of Norman F. Callahan of Ashburn, VA who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 5, 2024. Norman was 92 years old and predeceased by his parents Leo T. Callahan, and Beatrice Grady Callahan and wife, Mary D. Callahan. A dedicated and loving father, he is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Warkentin (Paul) and his sons Michael (Nora), Patrick (Samantha) and John (Claudia) and his grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Kathryn, Keara, Miles, Shannon and Alexander. Norman grew up in Washington DC, attending St John's College High School and was a decades long member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 26 providing electrical infrastructure for many projects in the DC area including the Metro.  Norman was also a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Rosensteel Council, No 2169. A memorial service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church 46833 Leesburg Pike, Sterling, VA on February 16, 2024 at 2 pm.
