Obituary of Hsueh-Yen Wang

Hsueh Yen Wang, 93, died peacefully on September 22, 2023 at the Sylvestery at Vinson Hall.   Born in Tsingtao, China in 1930, she came to the United States in 1954 with her first husband, John Perry.  She worked for many years at the Pentagon for the Department of Defense, working her way up from clerk typist to budget analyst.  In the 1980s, she married her second husband, Bernard Pitsvada, who predeceased her in 2014.  She is survived by her loving daughter Patricia Aburano (Brian), and, her sister Mary.  Hsueh Yen loved life and being with family and friends, and enjoyed travel and going to the opera.

Private interment at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA, at a date to be set.  Donations can be made in Hsueh Yen’s memory to the  Alzheimer's Association .
