Obituary of Carole J. Hackenberg.

Carole J. Hackenberg, 70, of Manassas Virginia passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 among family and friends at her daughters home in Fairfax, Virginia.Carole was born December 12, 1942 in St. Clair, Michigan to the Late Mark and Elizabeth (Scott) Zimmer. Carole is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heidemarie and John Daugherty; two grandchildren, Conor and Laura; and brother, Warren and Martha Zimmer of Marysville, Michigan; two sister-in-laws, Margaret Zimmer of Des Moines, Iowa, and Ruth Zimmer of Marysville, Michigan and other family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Chantilly, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the National Pancreas Foundation – pancreasfoundation.org or Briggs Animal Adoption Center – baacs.org.
