Obituary of Robert E. Hedgepeth

On Tuesday, December 24, 2013 of Falls Church, Va. Beloved husband of Betty Flodene Hedgepeth (nee Holem); loving father of Robert, Jr., Terry Jane, Marguerite, Betty Jean, and Darlene; dear grandfather of Robert III, David, Kimberly, Michael, Sammy, and Katie. Robert Hedgepeth, Sr. was born December 31, 1921. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific and the Korean War. After 20 years of military service, he retired as Sergeant First Class. The Hedgepeth Family will receive friends at Advent Funeral Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Va 22046 on Saturday, January 11th from 2-4pm. Services and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
