Obituary of Ovidiu Maxim

Ovidiu Maxim, 66, passed away on February 1, 2014 in Washington, D.C. He was born in Romania on October 27, 1947. He graduated from University of Iasi, where he received a Masters in Physics. He married his wife, Dorina, in November of 1982, and they moved to America on March 1, 1991. He was a Physics professor while in Romania, and employed at Walter Reed National Army Medical Center after moving to America. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church, where he was a member. He is survived by his son, Marian, and his wife, Dorina. The family is requesting that any donations be made to the Humanitarian Fund at St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church, in Falls Church, Virginia.
