Obituary of Linda E. Beach

Linda E. Beach of Arlington Virginia died on July 20, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born July 12, 1938 in Syracuse New York. She, her wit and humor will be sorely missed, but not forgotten. Linda is survived by her husband John W. Beach of Arlington, three sons John R, Edward W, .and Thomas A, six grandchildren Jacie, Jalene, Janalee, Daniel, Kharis, and Alaina; and two cousins Richard and Barbara Strom. Mrs. Beach held a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University and worked mostly part time in financial and tax accounting field while raising her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved all her rescued cats and , was an avid reader of European history, thus traveling to many of these historical places with her husband,. She enjoyed classical music and especially having sharing time with her family and friends. Memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), or the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). A family memorial service is planned in the near future.
