Obituary of William Andrew Cullins

“Andy” (Age 94) On July 20, 2014, in Wilmington, N.C., Andy peacefully passed away. Beloved husband to Winifred Catherine Cullins for 54 years; father of William Andrew Cullins, Jr. and W. Catherine (Philip) Talbott; grandfather of Kelley Cullins, Lara (James) Harpold, Kevin (Samantha) Talbott and Cate Talbott; great-grandfather of Alexa Talbott, Sohpia Talbott and Noah Harpold. Andy was born November 26, 1919 in St. Mary’s County, MD. Andy moved to Arlington County, VA and in 1951 began his career as an Arlington County Police Department Detective, retiring in 1981. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, July 27th from 4-6 pm at ADVENT Funeral & Cremation Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. Memorial services to be held on Monday, July 28th at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. A reception will follow at Pistone’s Italian Inn in Falls Church, VA.
