Obituary of Carol Ann Off

Carol Ann Off of Falls Church, VA, departed from this world on Thursday, September 11, 2014 with her beloved family by her side. She was 67 years old. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 42 years, Ernest Theil Off. She leaves behind two daughters, Teri Lynn Bussler and her husband Robert of Stafford, VA and Kelley A. Avelar and her husband Santos of Martinsburg, WV. Carol is also survived by a sister, Jane Runge and her husband Richard of Whiting, NJ and a brother, Robert Harris of Shrewsbury, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ellen Harris. She also leaves behind four grandchildren who she loved so very much, Kimberly Silvestrini, Robert Monahan, Kyle Fahnestock and Loren Monahan. She leaves behind many, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Born to Thomas and Virginia Harris on March 15, 1947, she lived most of her life in Falls Church, VA. Carol loved her family and friends and loved to make people laugh. Her smile and friendliness will be missed by all. She loved her part-time job at Alexandria City Police Department and her home business “Rubber Stamps Tomorrow” which she owned and operated with her husband for over 25 years. Carol was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be truly missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Advent Funeral Services in Falls Church, VA.
