Rayburn Atwell Metcalfe On March 13, 2015, of Falls Church, VA.Survived by his wife Billie Frances, daughters Lynn Connell, Nancy Fuge (Peter Fuge) & Martha Shelton (Bill Shelton) & grandchildren David Fuge (Erin Fuge), Greg Fuge, Katie Connell, Brad Connell and Jackson Shelton. Rayburn was born in Lubbock, TX (1929), and retired from NASA (1988) after devoting his career to public service in the federal government. Family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 20, 6-8pm, Advent Funeral Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22046. Contributions may be made to the Virginia Hospital Center or the charity of your choice.
