Scarrow family, my wife, Shauna, and I had the pleasure of getting know Will as his neighbor, for the past few years. In that relatively short amount of time, we got to experience his vibrant sense of humor, his generosity, and his kindness. He and our pups had a special connection as well. While typically clumsy goobers, anytime the pups said hi to Will, they were gentle and super affectionate. He had a special aura of life around him and was a joy to converse with.
We’re sending thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time and we’re so sorry we’re unable to attend the services. Thank you for always being a great neighbor and I hope you’re enjoying life in heaven, Will!

George and I went to a lot of 1946 Classs reunions. He and Nedra were at all of them and they were so much fun to be with. I got to dance with Bill several times and he was a great dancer. It is so sad when all of us get older and miss so many of our classmates who predecease us. I was from the class of 47 and married George Binsted who was in the same class as Bill.

“Billsy” was one of my very favorite people from GW PIKA. Always a hoot and full of fun. I have called him from time to time and was just about to call him again. Sad I missed it. I’ve always had a warm spot in my heart for Bill and Nedra. We’ve lost a wonderful friend.

To the Scarrow Family:
So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I worked with Bill back in the early 70’s at AAA in Wash DC/Falls Church. I was just out of college and Bill was one of my favorite people at AAA. He was so quick and witty, had everyone in stitches wherever, and always a delight. And he always told me ” Tom, be exactly the person you are, you are great.” He was very reassuring. I know he will be missed.
