Obituary of Jacqueline L. Muir

Jacqueline L. Muir, known as Jackie to family and friends, passed away at her home on October 26, 2019. Jackie was born in 1936 in Winooski, Vermont. As a wife and young mother, she came to the Northern Virginia area and there raised two children while starting her nursing career. Years later, instead of retiring, she moved to the Delaware shore, continuing to work as a nurse, but also enjoying the beach life. Jackie is survived by her daughter Wendy Atkinson, her son Mark Muir, her grandsons Chris Muir and Tommy Muir, and a host of loving family members and close friends. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until a service at 2pm on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Advent Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia.
