BARBARA A. LUCAS (Age 89) On Monday, February 28, 2011, passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Falls Church, VA, where she resided for the past 5 years. In 1984, she moved from Stratford, CT, to Water’s Edge condominiums, Falls Church, to be close to family, including a baby granddaughter. She was active in her church and enjoyed ballroom dancing at local senior centers. Survived by loving daughter, Janet H. Sasser and husband, Bruce, of Arlington, VA; beloved daughter-in-law, Anna Marie McLain and husband, Gary, of Panama City, FL; cherished sister Pauline Norton and husband, Warren, of Salem, SC; and adored grandchildren, Paul Ward Holzer, Melanie F. Sasser, and Adam McLain. Memorial service 2:00, Saturday, March 12, at Sunrise of Falls Church (Terrace Room), 330 North Washington Street (Lee Hwy), Falls Church, VA 22046. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Church of Christ, Scientist, 890 North McKinley Road, Arlington, VA 22205.
