Obituary of Minnie A. Samuels-Miller

Minnie Albert Samuels-Miller died on March 12th at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia of natural causes after a long illness. Born in East Chicago, Indiana on September 17, 1926, she was the daughter of Adline Smith and David Samuels. Ms. Samuels moved to the Arlington, Virginia area in November1988. Her son Terrance Kyle, Manhattan, New York; daughters Janise Kyle, Arlington, Virginia and Carolyn Miller Harris (Bonnie Milton Harris, Son in law), Frankfort, Kentucky; her sister Anna Mae Hood, Jackson, Tennessee and grandchildren Matthew Harris, Denver, Colorado, Whitney Harris, Beaufort, South Carolina and Terrance Miller, Arlington, Virginia as well as nieces, nephews and cousins survive her. A daughter, Linda E. Miller predeceased her. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Ms. Samuels was cremated and a private family burial/memorial will take place on May 28th. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation.
