Dr Bruno, Jeff, Mike, Matt, and Will, I was so sad to hear the news of Mrs Bruno’s passing. I have so many great memories of spending time with the Bruno clan as a kid often spending 2-3 days a week after school there before she would drive Matt and I to basketball practice to meet up with Dr Bruno. I will always remember her phenomenal cooking and dedication to all of her sons (and friends) athletic adventures. Thoughts and prayers to you at this time. Jason Wallenhorst

Rory sent Paddy and I an e-mail last week in Mexico and gave us the sad news. Sharon was a good friend and neighbor for many years. I have so many stories, I’ll just share a couple. One day I came home to find my alarm blaring. I went to Sharon’s. She retrieved a baseball bat and we proceeded to my house. We went through the front door, down the hall, I was right behind her. When we got to the kitchen she said “call the police! You have been ransacked!”. I was embarrassed to tell her oh no, that’s the way I left the house. We laughed so hard we gave up the search. Then there was the time she put together my St. Paddy’s day meal so I could go out to celebrate, but still make it home in time for the family dinner. God bless Sharon. She was the best. Love, Lynn

Mr. Bruno, Jeff, Mike, Matt and Will, I am terribly saddened to hear about Sharon, such an extremely kind person. I know it has been a long time since we have been in contact, but I think of the old days on Clover Leaf Drive fondly. Mrs. Bruno used to drive me to school every morning at St. Luke, and even though I wasn’t family, let me sit in the front because I was the oldest of the kids at the time. I will never forget her. Having the Bruno’s for neighbors was the best thing I had going as a kid, and Mrs. Bruno was a huge part of that. Both of my parents are out of the country right now, but I will relay the sad news to them on their return. With Love,
Rory

Dear Pete and all the Bruno boys and their families,
The service this morning was just so touching. Even though it was held for a very sad reason, it was wonderful to sit and watch the photos, remembering Sharon’s beauty and her joy in life. The spoken tributes brought tears and laughter. They were all so heartfelt and appropriate. Thank you for including all of us in the memorial. Sharon was a lovely neighbor. She is just unforgettable. I will hold all of you in my thoughts and pray that life goes gently for you in your grief and remembrance.
Love and blessings,
Jessie

Dear Mr. Bruno, Jeff, Mike,Matt, Will and family. I am saddened beyond words. I have so many great memories of her from my childhood and beyond. She was an incredible mother and human being. I will never forget her carting us around as kids in the station wagon blasting the “80’s” music. She was always kind to all the kids in the neighborhood and made us laugh often. We’re gonna miss you Mrs. B.
Love, Jason Buckland

Dear Mr. Bruno, Jeff, Mike, Will and Matt and family,
I am sorry I could not be with you today. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Bruno. My strongest memory is of “babysitting” the boys for a few hours one hot, summer day. THAT was funny! I will never forget her smile.
With much love,
Mary (Thorpe) Yee

Hi Pete and family I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Sharon was such a wonderful and talented and sweet lady and an extraordinary chef. I was so amazed at her Thanksgiving menu and how she would prepare for it well in advance! No one could do it better. We on Holly Leaf could only marvel. She has left a wonderful legacy with you her boys and I pray that you will be consoled and healed from your loss. With best regards, Liz

Pete, Jeff, Mike, Matt, Will and Family,
We are very sorry to hear of “Mrs. B’s” passing. I will always have fond memories of her as a kid; she was a second Mom to many of us. Her good nature always seemed to make times at your home fun and joyful. I will always have a place in my childhood memories for Mrs. B. Thanksgiving time was a special event each and every year. I am thankful to have known her. She will be missed greatly.
With love and memories,
