Obituary of Elizabeth A. Fischer

Elizabeth Ann Fischer passed away peacefully at her home in Alexandria on December 8th, 2011. She retired from the federal Government in August of 1999 where she had worked as an accounting clerk for the Department of the Army. During her life she volunteered much time and love to numerous charities including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the American Red Cross. Always cheerful of spirit, she was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband, Robert T, and sons, James G., and Joseph F. She is survived by her son John T., his wife Lisa and their children, Amanda, Jason, Steven and Zachary, daughter-in-law Sally, Dennis Cox and numerous other family and friends. Visitation at Advent Funeral Services, 7211 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22046 on Saturday, December 17th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Fort Myer Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11am.
