Cynthia “Cindy” K. Cofer (Age 47) On January 17, 2012 Cindy rested in her Savior’s arms, in Great Falls, VA, loving wife of 25 years to Frank Cofer, and caring mother of Morgan, Erica and Colleen. Survived by her mother/step-father Alexia and Robert Griffin of Austin, TX, father/step-mother Ronald and Susan Collins of Bunker Hill, WV and a sister Cheri Thompson (Steve) of Arlington, TX and sister in-laws Carol Wilkinson, Janet Boatwright and Cindy Wall with spouses, nieces and nephews. Cindy was born on June 18, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. She attended Duncanville H.S. (1982) and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington (1986). Cindy had a gift in her relationship with children and taught preschool at Providence Baptist Church starting in 1995 and then at St Francis Crèche Preschool since 2004. She was also a member of McLean Bible Church where she served in Kids Quest for over 15 years. Cindy exhibited all of the qualities reflected in Paul’s letter to the holy and faithful of Colosse. “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12 Visitation will be at McLean Bible Church on Thursday January 19 from 4-8pm in Community Room B. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday January 20 at 10am at McLean Bible Church (Smith Center) 8925 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. A private Internment service will be performed at Andrew Chapel Cemetery following the memorial service. Flowers can be delivered to McLean Bible Church or in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Association for Cancer Research.
