Obituary of Elaine B. Manning

Elaine Bergquist Manning, 88, long time resident of the Washington Metropolitan Area, died on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Capital Care Hospice in Arlington, VA. Born in Minneapolis, MN, she came to the area in WWII and retired from the Department of the Navy in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Manning, in 1977. She is survived by her son, Michael P. Manning of Annandale, VA; grandson Daniel K. Manning of Boston, MA; daughter, Elaine M. Nantz of Falls Church; and sister, Helen B. Wilson of San Diego, CA. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington DC on March 16, 2012. Memorial donations can be sent to Capital Caring Hospice at 4715 15th Street North, Arlington VA 22205.
