Obituary of Eva Cano Mayor

Resident of North Virginia for the past 18 years. Eva passed away March 7th, 2012 surrounded by her husband, Javier F. Mayor, by her sons, Javier Mayor, Fernando Mayor, and Manuel Mayor; her daughters, Romy Warwick and Jimena Mayor and her siblings; Gladys Figueroa, Manuel Cano and Ruben Cano; After a courageous battle against Ovarian Cancer. She spent many years as a Senior Center Director of Langston Brown Senior Center. A department of parks, recreation and cultural resources for Arlington County. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, strength and dedication to her family and vocation. She also survives by her father, Manuel Cano Hevia, her grandson Miguel, and granddaughters Maripaz, Isabella, Allison, and Katelyn. Always putting others before herself, she will always be loved by those of us left to remember her.
