Obituary of Joan McNeil Tambasco

JOAN MCNEIL TAMBASCO On August 17, 2012, in her home at Goodwin House at Bailey’s Crossroads in Falls Church, VA. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) Tambasco. She is also survived by her sisters, Adeline and Patricia McNeil, other relatives, a host of dear friends, and children she taught for almost 50 years, lastly at Stone Ridge Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown on Monday, August 27, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30 in the church and after the service. Parking will be available at Visitation Academy. Memorial donations may be made to the Haiti fund of her former community, the Daughters of Wisdom, 385 Ocean Avenue, Islip, NY 11751.
