Obituary of Arthur Simolunas

Simolunas, Arthur Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, November 7 at Capital Caring in Arlington. He was born on July 5, 1934 in Johnson City, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen, his children, Glenn (Susan) and Alicia (Moe) Kabiri and his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Nathan Kabiri and Luke Simolunas. Art received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College in Schnectady, NY. He retired from the FAA after 30 years of service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17 from 11am-12 Noon at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3304 North Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon. Memorial contributions may be made in Art’s name to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042.
