Obituary of Della Belle Quillian
On Sunday, December 9, 2012 passed away at her home in McLean VA. She had breast cancer. Her watercolor and acrylic art works have won many awards with Virginia Watercolor Society, Washington Watercolor Society, The Alexandria Art League, and the McLean Arts Society. She was the wife of the late Stone W. Quillian, Col. USMC (Ret); beloved mother of Diane Blackwell and Stone W. Quillian, II, Col., USMC (Ret). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caitlin and Stuart Blackwell, Lauren and Stone Quillian, III and two step-grandchildren, Melissa and Rachel Kuykendall. A memorial service will be held at Ft. Myer Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11am. For those attending, please arrive no later than 10:30am. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the USO or charities for heart disease or breast cancer.
