I was so sorry to hear only today, of the passing of Pam. I took Pam out to lunch back in the summer and ever the optimist she spoke only of getting better and gaining weight. Today, something told me to stop by the house because I had been thinking about her a lot lately. I must admit to a certain foreboding. Ash gave me the news.
Pam and Tina were both students at my Yoga studio and Pam was also a private Yoga student. She also always supported my fund raising efforts on behalf of the Arlington Food Assistance Center. I will always remember her as one of the sweetest, most gentle human beings I have ever met. There never seemed to be a time when she wasn’t smiling and I don’t think she would even know how to say an unkind thing about anyone.
She will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Ash,
I was very sorry to learn of your loss. I have many fond memories of Pam’s simile and effervescent personality during evening at your place when you were in the Holy Loch. I will be thinking of you.

I met Pamela when she came for Reiki at Virginia Hospital Center in September of 2011. Pamela was always delightful with a big cheerful smile despite her physical problems. We enjoyed giving her our Reiki energies over many months. Please accept our condolences to her big wonderful family. Lois Mandelberg Reiki Volunteer Coordinator VHC

Dear Ash, Liz, Tina, and Ash, You have my deepest sympathy. I know that you and your families will miss her.
I still think of Pam and her smile, which makes me smile. She was a terrific neighbor and friend for over 30 years. I, too, will miss her.

To all the Roach family: Accept our heartfelt sympathy. Pam was a wonderful, kind and fun lady. We so enjoyed her company at the UVA meetings in places around the world. Law of the Sea trips won’t be the same without her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
