Obituary of Norine H. Farrell

Norine H. Farrell, 78, beloved mother, passed away peacefully Saturday March 9, 2013 at Fairfax Hospital with her family by her side. She was born June 10, 1934 in Albany, NY to Mary Alice and Matthew Heeran. Norine retired from the Albany Veterans Hospital in 1994 and moved to Florida in 1998 with her husband John “Jack” where he enjoyed golf and she enjoyed the sun and ocean breeze. She was staying with her daughter in Annandale, Virginia at the time of her death. Norine’s greatest loves were her family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Norine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Dennis Hogan of Annandale, VA, her sons John L. Farrell, Jr. of Englewood, FL and Gerald Farrell of Westerlo, NY, her sister Linda (Jim) Canonica of Albany, NY, her brothers Michael (Pat) Heeran of Latham, NY and Edward Heeran (Melanie) of Nashville, TN, her brother-in-law Richard Fahey, her grandchildren Kevin (Rebecca) Hogan, Caitlin Hogan, Jocelyn Farrell and Zachary Farrell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John L. Farrell, Sr. and her sister Valerie Fahey. A funeral mass will be held at St Mary’s Church Clinton Heights, NY on Friday April 19, 2013 at 10 AM with interment to follow at the Gerald B. Solomon Cemetery in Saratoga, NY.
