Obituary of James P. Stuart

James Patrick Stuart, 57, of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2023.

James was born on October 25, 1965, to Susan Cox-Burke and Thomas Burke in Washington, D.C.

Jimmy was passionate about many things. He was an avid Redskins fan, had a deep appreciation and knowledge of nature, and was incredibly artistic, talented, and dedicated to his crafts. He enjoyed gardening, was an excellent chef, and a doting dog dad to Hazel and Milly and many other wonderful pets during his life.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and their two children, Samantha, and Tyler. Anyone who knew Jimmy knew that he was the most devoted and loving father and husband a family could ask for. Jimmy leaves a loving circle of friends, family, relatives, and neighbors, some still living and some not. Each of them had a positive impact on his life in some way.

There will be a memorial gathering at 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Advent Funeral & Cremation Services (7211 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22046). All associates, family, and friends of the family are warmly welcome to attend.
