Obituary of Maria Antonieta Benavides

We regretfully announce the passing of Maria Antonieta Benavides of Falls Church, VA on March 5, 2023. Maria was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Our mother, Maria, immigrated from El Salvador in 1977 and became the head of the family. She was one of the  strongest and most courageous women to ever walk this earth and we were blessed to have her in our lives.

Maria was a provider, caring, and a loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Maria was predeceased by her father Juan, her mother Blanca, her sisters Teresa, Irma, and Juana, and her brother Max. She is survived by her children Ricardo (Andre), Karen (Pedro), and Javier (Valeska), her brothers Juan (Maria Antonia) and Mario, and her grandchildren Jovanna (Jonathan), Gabriela, and Gianna.

May she rest in eternal peace.
