When you haven’t seen someone since childhood, but the mere mention of their name brings a big smile to your face, then you know that person was a light in this world. Rodi Gula hosted my goodbye party at the end of 8th grade, just prior to my family’s move from this area. It is nearly impossible to surprise me, but she did. Many moons ago at Webber college, Rodi and I became what could best be described as "More then friends, but less then boy friend and girl friend". We just enjoyed laughter and bantering away some time while tucked away in the orange groves at Webber college. Rodi, helped all of us at Webber enjoy our college experience at a place where people made the difference!. She was always as cute as a bunny with a personality to match. No one didn't love her, she was just that kind of person. Outside of one trip she and some classmates made to Naples, I'm sorry we didn't stay in touch, I know she was a great wife, a great mother, but oh my, how I would have loved to see her as a grandmother. Wow, what a blessing she was to those children, that, I'm sure of. My condolences to the entire family, you don't lose a Matriarch like Rodi and not have a huge, empty void. The lord showed her grace and Mercy and took her home before the pain and cancer became unbearable, and for that I'm thankful. God bless you all, and thank you Rodi, you made Babson Park, for a guy from Jersey not only bearable, but incredible, God bless you my sister, until we meet again.
