Obituary of Denny Kline
On Sunday, January 30, 2022 Frances Denyse “Denny” Kline died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 22, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to Robert and Helen Dowler Axe. Loving mother of Kimberley Kline Carsto (Donald), Courtney Kline, and Sean Kline (Heather); grandmother of Teagan and Micah Carsto, Corynn MacKline and Mattison Kline, and Bergen, Tenley, Griffin and Berkeley Kline; sister of Gregory Axe of Scottsdale, Arizona, Sheila Quinn of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Colleen Axe of Watsonville, California, and the late Kevin Axe of Evanston, Illinois.
Denny was a Psychiatric/Editorial Assistant to John R. Cavanagh from 1968-1977. She then worked for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, from 1977-1983 with St James Religious Education then in 1983 she became a founding faculty member of St Paul VI Catholic High School serving as Campus Minister from 1983-2010 and Pastoral Counselor from 2010 until her retirement in 2018.
Friends may call at St John Neuman Catholic Church 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA 20191 on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm where A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10:30 am.(Webcast available, see link below) Interment, St James Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia.
