Obituary of Patricia Gannon Canavan

Patricia Gannon Canavan passed away in her home, surrounded by family, on August 29th at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick Gannon, her second husband, Richard Canavan, her eldest son, Kevin Gannon (Sarah) her beloved sister and brother and almost all of her friends. She is survived by her sons, Kieran (Robin), Gregory(Alice) and Thomas (Keren) and her daughter, Kathleen (Richard) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of her well lived life will be held at Washington Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, September 7th from 12-2. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to A Forever Home, the Fairfax County Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society or any favored charity.
