Obituary of Derrick Watkins

Derrick Watkins was born on October 10, 1964, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He was a loving and kind person to everyone he knew.  On any given Saturday, if you were looking for Derrick you could find him in the garage working on someone’s car. If he wasn’t working on cars, he was the camera man for the Women’s, Men’s and Co-Ed Playmakers Football Teams. He departed this life on July 10, 2021 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves to mourn two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers, four aunts, two nieces, six nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
