Obituary of Luz Reyes Naval

"Luz R Naval, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born January 12, 1937 in Bataan, Philippines, to Camilo Naval and Bartola Reyes. She graduated from Far Eastern University and had a long and productive career as a certified public accountant. Luz married Alexis Balunsat and soon started a family with the birth of their daughter Zandra. She enjoyed being a mother and took an active role in enriching her daughter's life experiences.

Luz lived life to the fullest and remained active well into her retirement. She was an avid ballroom dancer, a hobby she shared with her daughter. She enjoyed traveling, regularly going on cruises and trips abroad with her daughter and amassing an impressive souvenir collection. Luz was a generous soul as well. She welcomed teachers who were just starting out into her home, she enjoyed giving gifts to her nieces, and she was an active member of her church and community. She was a devout Catholic and good role model.

She is very much loved by family and friends, who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Zandra Balunsat. A wake will be held at Advent Funeral and Cremation Services from 10am to 2pm on Thursday, Jan 21, 2021, followed by a memorial mass at St Matthias the Apostle Chruch.
