Ransford V. Bucknor

Ransford “Barry” Bucknor, age 69 died peacefully at home on May 09, 2020 surrounded by family after a brave battle with cancer.

The restaurant was featured in Washingtonian Magazine and even was featured on a local news channel for his famous jerk chicken recipe.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Barry had a passion for music, art, and craft. He loved traveling to his home country of Jamaica, he loved the beach, the food, and the culture. Barry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Elvenia. Barry is also survived by five children of his own and two children through marriage.
