Burial: Interment National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Liz” Newlon, loving father of Karen Phillips and the late Harry Earl “Butch” Newlon, III. Grandfather of John Thomas Phillips III, Jennifer Lynne Duane, Thomas Harper Phillips, Carrie Lee Newlon and Richard Earl Phillips. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
