Obituary of Mona Lee Stafford

Service: Funeral services will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Advent Funeral Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22046. Burial: Interment Arlington National Cemetery, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 9 AM. Please assemble at Administration Building by 8:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Capital Hospice, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042. On Tuesday November 2, 2010, of Springfield, VA, died peacefully at her residence. Daughter of John and Janet Pevornik, sister of Mark Pevornik and his wife, Wanda. She is also survived by her devoted husband, Mark Stafford, adored daughter, Lauren Stafford, loving son, Ryan Stafford and his wife, Hannah, granddaughter, Grace, uncle Elmer Smith, aunt Nancy Smith and many caring relatives and friends. Mona travelled the world for 20 years as a Navy wife, which gave her the opportunity to pursue her love of horses by training, showing and just being in their company. The most important love of her life was raising children, she was dedicated to nurturing others, and has been a positive influence in many young lives.
